Junior School Religious Education
As Catholics, we believe that Religious Education is not one subject amongst many, but the foundation of the entire education process. The beliefs and values it communicates should inspire and unify every aspect of school life.
Following this, worship and liturgy take the form of:
- Quiet time of prayer and reflection – at the beginning of each day,
and before and after meals.
- Assemblies and Liturgies – held each week, may be lead by the Principal, Educators or Learners.
- The Eucharist - There will be whole school celebration Masses each
term and all children will attend Mass to celebrate special feast days and days of obligation (St Dominic’s Day, Ash Wednesday and Ascension Day).
