Career Planning is the process of matching our aspirations with reality. It compares our understanding of who we are and what we can do with the requirements of the present and future work environment.

Career planning does not have an age restriction! It is an ongoing, active and honest process of exploration, starting with subject choice in Grade 9 and ending with our decision on when and how to retire.

To make a proper career decision you need to know yourself and your own abilities. You also need to understand the world of study, the world of work and the requirements of various occupations. This will enable you to identify the right course to attain your career aspirations.

The subjects we offer are divided into the three main streams, viz. Humanities, Commerce and Sciences.

If you have a clear cut preference and aptitude for any one of these directions, your subject choices become easier.  You can select all or most of your subjects from within a certain stream.

If you are undecided about your future career choice and have no firm subject preferences, it is possible to select subjects across the streams to allow you as much flexibility as possible.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the tradewinds in your sails. Explore. Dream."  ~ Mark Twain
